CLI Overview
The CLI is a straightforward command interface in which you type commands
on a line and press Enter to execute them. The CLI provides command help,
command comp
letion, and Emacs-style keyboard sequences for moving around on
the comm an d line and scrolling through a buffer of recently executed comm an ds.
The CLI has two m odes:
Operational mode—Complete set of comm ands to control the CLI
environment, monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, manage the
Services Ro
uter, and enter configuration mode.
Configurat
ion m od e—Complete set of commands to configure the Services
Router. This gu ide refers to co nfigu ration mode as the CLI configuration editor.
